Join us for our annual Summer Show, a celebration of everything our students have been working towards this year.
Featuring dance, singing and drama performances from across the academy, All Stars 26 bring our MGA community together on stage for an exciting, feel-good showcase.
Saturday 4th July & Sunday 5th July 2026
The MGA Summer Show is our full-scale annual production, giving every student the chance to experience performing on stage as part of a large, exciting show.
This year’s production will include dance, singing and drama groups, with professional lighting, costumes, a seated audience of over 400 and a celebratory awards ceremony.
Every child who attends regular classes is offered the opportunity to take part.
Every student is invited to perform
Every child attending regular classes will have at least four opportunities to appear on stage
Participation is optional, children are welcome to continue attending weekly classes just for fun if they prefer
We always have a small number of students who choose not to perform, and that is completely okay
That said, it’s a fantastic experience, and we do encourage everyone to get involved if they can.
Performances will take place at:
The Burgess Hall, St Ives
Saturday 4th July 2026
5:00pm - 7:00pm (Performance 1)
Sunday 5th July 2026
1:00pm - 3:00pm (Performance 2)
Important
All participating students must be available for both performances.
The awards ceremony and medals will be presented at the end of the Sunday Show.
A full cast rehearsal will take place on:
Saturday 4th July
11:00am - 3:00pm
The Burgess Hall, St Ives
Parents will need to:
Collect their child at 3:00pm
Return them at 4:00pm, ready for the evening performance
Please note: chaperones are not responsible for children during this hour, so collection is essential
Mini Movers
Mini movers will attend a shorter rehearsal:
10:00am - 11:00am
With the option to perform Sunday only
The Show will feature three main themes:
Country
Including elements from 9 to 5 The Musical and iconic country-inspired numbers
Street / Commercial / Pop
A familiar MGA favourite, full of energy and crowd-pleasing routines
Shrek the Musical
From one green character last year… to two this year!
Due to the size of the academy, solos, duets and special opportunities will be selected by the teaching team.
If suitable opportunities arise, students will be approached directly.
Mini Movers
Audition information for speaking or singing roles will be sent directly to students who attend drama and/or singing classes.
If your child would like to be considered for these opportunities, they must attend the relevant class and make the team aware.
This helps us confirm availability for rehearsals and performances, participations decisions and parent support availability on or around the show dates.
Please complete the form even if your child will not be performing, so we have everything recorded and don't need to follow up.
You'll also find important terms and conditions highlighted within the form.
If your child attends both drama and dance or singing, please select the Dance & Singing form.
Have a question?
We know there’s a lot of information to take in when planning a large-scale show and it’s completely normal to have questions.
If you’re unsure about availability, rehearsals, participation, or which form to complete, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We’re always happy to help clarify anything and support you in making the right decision for your child.
