Step into the spotlight and get ready to discover your inner rebel! MGA is excited to announce auditions for our next junior musical, Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical JR. — a powerful, funny and unforgettable stage experience full of energy, confidence and creativity.

Performance Dates: 20th & 21st March 2027
Show Venue: The Commemoration Hall, PE29 3AQ
Who Can Audition?
We welcome all children aged 6 to 18 living in and around Huntingdonshire. Every performer starts by auditioning for the ensemble, with the opportunity to stay on and audition for speaking roles (ages 9+).
What to Expect at Audition
Learn a fun dance routine and a song on the day.
All audition material is taught in-session, no need to prepare in advance.

Earlier this year, students from MGA performed in four performances of Disney’s High School Musical JR. at Burgess Hall, St Ives.
The production brought together young performers from both MGA and the wider community, creating an unforgettable experience full of confidence, teamwork and creativity.

How Much Does it Cost?
Audition Deposit:
To secure your audition space, we require a non-refundable deposit of £15. This amount will be deducted from the overall show fee.
Show Fee:
The total show fee is £180. Once the £15 audition deposit has been paid, the remaining balance will be £165.
This can either be paid in full on 3rd December 2026 or split into 3 monthly instalments of £55, due on 14th December 2026, 14th January 2027 and 14th February 2027. The first payment made will secure your child’s place in the musical. The show fee includes the official performance licence, all rehearsals, all costumes and a show T-shirt.
Sibling discount: £5 off per additional sibling (applied to final payment).
Note: This event operates a no-refund policy unless the production is cancelled.
